Mr F. Stephen Sinclair (GDC Reg. No. 120012) qualified in 1976 at the Newcastle College of Arts and Technology, in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. He furthered his skills at the Manchester Polytechnic in 1978, where he gained an Advanced Certificate in Orthodontics. After 25 years of employment in the Orthodontic and Maxillofacial Laboratory at Carlisle City General Hospital, he then formed a partnership and Ross & Sinclair’s Dental Laboratory was founded in 1989. In 1999 Stephen took sole ownership of the business and moved premises to our present location at St. Andrew’s Place, Penrith in 2004.

Michael Yates (GDC Reg. No. 151581) has over 40 years of experience as a dental technician, specialising in prosthetics. Qualifying at the Ministry of Defence Army Medical Services in 1973, Michael has a life-time of knowledge in his profession.

Andrew Sinclair (GDC Reg. No. 214599), who also specialises in prosthetics, gained his Foundation Degree (Science) in Dental Technology at the Manchester Metropolitan University in 2010. Andrew is constantly sourcing new and innovative methods for working in the industry.

We do not use ‘process workers’ or support the ‘production line’ mentality of other laboratories, and this reflects in the quality of the product and services that we are able to offer the client, and ultimately the patient.
